Patience, You do give advice in an indirect way. You are successful and have learned to live with a PTSD combat vet with dignity and grace. I have learned so much information from you and that is what I meant by advice. You are surely a treasure in our sisterhood. Love, Dar

Hi Vicki, Just checkin in lol with one of my sisters. I see you are into classic cars? Me too. I had a 1970, red with black tuxedo stripes, chevelle ragtop. Jacked up rear end(a little to high),lol. 396 factory bored out to 402. 4 on the floor.Kragar wheels, I covered the seats with flag like terry cloth and we called her " the Patriot" She was a blast. Definitely driveable . Not as pristeen as your 57 but fun just the same a couple trophies at small shows. I just loved putting her thru the paces. Never got a chance to race her uh hum other than the one time my husband(he had a 69 camaro) and I kinda dragged on a public street LOL later story LOL. He also was in field artillary but in USMC. Keep in touch Dar

Dar we had a friend with the same Chevelle except it was a hardtop. When he put it p for sale I wanted to buy it for me. He would not sell it to me cause he said it was a mans car. I did not need it anyway. Yes we are still friends. He was the bodyman painter for the 57 Chevy. The picture is not my 57 but it did look like that except it was Corvette Blue. I would have to scan my pictures to post them and I just have not done it, My SIL and dd have a 66 Nova. He restored a 669 camaro and sold it. I miss comraderie we had when we showed the cars.
